This event is Jimmy Sites premier fund-raiser of the year for his SOA Team Ministry work. All proceeds go to support distribution of “Heart of the Outdoor” Bibles and other Men’s Ministry Resources. Tim is happy to donate his time and product to such a great cause.
Legendary outdoorsman, Jimmy Houston will be the keynote speaker at the event. Houston is not only one of the world’s most famous fishermen, but also a first-class hunter as well. His TV shows – Jimmy Houston Outdoors and Jimmy Houston Adventures have been entertaining viewers for over 30 years! Houston has won B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year twice, named Jim Thorpe Man of the Year and has been inducted into several Fishing Halls of Fame. He has written 5 books, and he strongly supports the SOA Team Ministry work distributing Bibles. Jimmy Houston will be sharing his life story at this event, so this event will be a tremendous opportunity to hear personally from this legend.
Along with fantastic food and speakers, the evening will also feature entertainment provided by GMA Song of the Year performer, Neil Thrasher. When I saw your seasoning mentioned on another blog, I thought it must be a misprint – my maiden name is Lawhorn, and it is not a name I see very often, especially in a commercial name!
I couldn’t find your seasoning listed near my zip code here in Oklahoma, so I’ll probably just order online. What a unique Christmas gift for my family!
