Today’s video is aimed at getting kids excited about veggies, but it’s ALL good with Lawhorn’s on it!
INGREDIENTS:

2ea.- Medium yellow squash 1/4″ sliced

2ea.- Medium Zucchini 1/4″ sliced

1ea.- Small Red Onion(Bermuda) 1/8″ julienned

1/4ea.- Sweet Red Bell Pepper 1/8″ Julienned

1/2 Stick-REAL Butter

2TBS- LAWHORN’S SIGNATURE SEASONINGS

OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:

1/4lb.-Fresh Blanched Green Beans cut in half

1 handful- Fresh Snow Peas

1/2Cup- sliced Portabella or Domestic Mushrooms

1/2 Cup Fresh roasted corn cut off Stalk

DIRECTIONS:

Wash all vegetables and pat dry. Slice veggies. In a large non-stick skillet, melt the butter on high heat until it starts popping. DO NOT let it turn brown as this completely changes the flavor of the butter. Quickly add the on and bell peppers and let sauté for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the rest of the ingredients and the Lawhorn’s and keep stirring over high heat for about 2 minutes. Reduce heat to med-low and cover. Keep stirring until the pan cools down enough that things won’t burn. Serve when your desired tenderness is achieved. We found that most kids that try this for the first time don’t really know what they’re eating until we tell them. Of course, we ask them if they liked it BEFORE we tell them they just ate squash! The optional veggies can be put in for a more “gourmet” medley. They can also be used by themselves with just a good sprinkling of Lawhorn’s!

When you use these great, kid-friendly recipes to cook up veggies that are so tasty they will be begging you for more.
