Elk and Venison Sloppy Joes

Elk & Venison Sloppy Joes with Lawhorn's Signature SeasoningIngredients:

1 lb ground elk
1 lb ground venison
1/2 stick real butter
1/2 jar Heinz Chili Sauce
1 cup sweet BBQ Sauce
4 tbs Lea & Perrin’s Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large onion medium chopped
5 tbs Lawhorn’s Signature Seasoning
8-12 potato buns
1 large non stick saute pan with lid

Directions:

  1. Saute the onion, Lawhorn’s Signature Seasoning and meat together
    in butter over medium to high heat until lightly brown
  2. Reduce heat to medium once it is lightly brown
  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients and place lid on saute pan
  4. Simmer for 15 minutes
  5. Place on potato buns and serve

Variation:

For thicker sauce, simmer for 30 minutes, stirring every 1-2 minutes
