• 1 lb shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 lb shredded red cabbage
  • 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 to 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 4 tsp whole celery salad
  • 2 tsp Lawhorn’s Signature Seasonings


  1. Mix all wet ingredients together until sugar is dissolved. If it is too tangy, add more sugar. Taste for desired sweetness and tanginess. If too sweet, take some dressing out and add more vinegar.
  2. Dump cabbage in mixing bowl and mix for about 2-3 minutes. While mixing, squeeze slaw in your hands to release oils and moisture, and allow for dressing to absorb in the cabbage
  3. Place in refrigerator for several hours
  4. Serve it cold or room temperature
